Notification of Temporary Traffic Restrictions – Houndsfield Lane, Shirley – 29th March 2020

TR223/2020 –  Houndsfield Lane, Shirley – Notice of Temporary Road Closure

The Council gives notice under Sections 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991), being satisfied that all traffic should be restricted or prohibited to ensure that a safety examination of a railway bridge structure can be undertaken.
The works will require Houndsfield Lane, Shirley to be closed 20 metres either side of Railway Bridge TSB/22 on Sunday 29th March 2020 (8am-5pm).

Alternative routes for traffic will be signed via Hollywood Lane, Truemans Heath Lane, Haslucks Green Road and Tilehouse Lane. Vice versa for the other direction.

Informatory warning signs will be deployed, not less than seven days before any particular road will be closed, at the following location. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian and vehicle access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.

Notification of Temporary Traffic Restrictions – Wood Lane, Earlswood 18th – 20th March 2020

SOLIHULL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL have provided the following Notice of Temporary Road Closure on Wood Lane, Earlswood– 18th – 20th March 2020

The Council gives notice under Sections 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991), being satisfied that all traffic should be restricted or prohibited to ensure that electrical supply alteration work can be undertaken in safety.

The works will require Wood Lane, Earlswood to be closed from the junction of Rumbush Lane to the junction of Valley Road from (8am) Wednesday 18th March – (4pm) Friday 20th March 2020.
Alternative routes for traffic will be signed via Rumbush Lane and Norton Lane. Vice versa for the other direction.

Informatory warning signs will be deployed, not less than seven days before any particular road will be closed, at the following location. Access for emergency services cannot be maintained through the restriction. Pedestrian and vehicle access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.

Wood Lane, Earlswood -Notice of Temporary Road Closure

The Council gives notice under Sections 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991), being satisfied that all traffic should be restricted or prohibited to ensure that tree cutting around overhead power lines can be undertaken in safety.
The works will require Wood Lane, Earlswood to be closed from the junction with Rumbush Lane to the junction with Norton Lane on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th March 2020 (0900hrs to 1600hrs).
Alternative routes for traffic will be signed via Rumbush Lane and Norton Lane. Vice versa for the other direction.
Informatory warning signs will be deployed, not less than seven days before any particular road will be closed, at the following location. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian and vehicle access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.

Notification of New Zebra Crossing Facility – Fulford Hall Road, Tidbury Green

SOLIHULL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

 Notice of the Establishment of a Zebra Crossing – Fulford Hall Road, Tidbury Green

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Solihull MBC, in accordance with Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police, intends to construct and commission a new Zebra Crossing facility.

As detailed on the attached plan, the proposed crossing will be located on Fulford Hall Road, Tidbury Green just south of its Junction with Lowbrook Lane and will take effect on or after 25th July 2019.

Further details for this crossing may be obtained by written request from the address given below or, alternatively, inspected at Solihull Connect, The Core, located off Theatre Square, Touchwood, Solihull during normal opening hours.

Lady Lane – Notice of Temporary Road Closure – Carriageway Closures

Solihull MBC gives notice under Sections 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991), being satisfied that all traffic should be restricted or prohibited to ensure that carriageway repair works can be undertaken in safety.

The works will require the road to be closed for a maximum of two days between Saturday 16th February to Sunday 3rd March 2019.

Lady Lane, Earlswood from the junction with Cleobury Lane to the junction with Braggs Farm Lane – (9am to 4pm) Alternative routes for traffic will be signed via Tanworth Lane, Salter Street, Shutt Lane and Valley Road. Vice versa for the other direction. Please see the attached Plan.

Informatory warning signs will be deployed, not less than seven days before any road is closed. Access for emergency services maintained at all times. Where applicable, pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
